Aim

           CONCENTRATION AND EFFECTS OF DIOXIN LIKE COMPOUNDS RELEASED IN TO ATMOSPHERE FROM E-WASTE BURNING

The Aim of this project is to find out the concentration of dioxin released in to the atmosphere due to open burning of e-waste materials and also to suggest the admissible level of dioxin that can be inhaled by human beings.  With this we can also calculate the respiration rate of the adult and children depending upon their body weight.

This project is divided into two parts:

• The first part of this project is to find out the amount of  waste generated from electrical and electronic equipments.
• The second part of this project is to find out the concentration of dioxin released in to the atmosphere due to open burning of e-waste materials.
